Challenge

Various lead frame shapes/colours have to be detected in the conveyor.

The space to install the sensors is limited and when changeover of products takes place adjusting the position of the sensor has to be easy.

Solution

Omron offers fiber sensors and limited reflective sensors with a special optical structure. This enables reliable detection of the lead frames.
