PCB-detection sensor
Challenge
There are various kinds of PCB’s:
- Various colours, such as green, white or semi-transparent
- Various surfaces, such as shiny or frosted
- Various boards, such as bare, patterned or ones mounted with electronics components.
Furthermore, there are holes and pathways on some PCB’s, making detection difficult with small-spot beam sensors. Yet the sensor has to detect all the PCB’s, despite the variety making it difficult.
