Safety sensors single beam
Challenge
Where conveyors enter equipment there are hazardous gaps. The hands of the operators have to be protected while working. The space however to install safety sensors is limited.
Solution
Omron offers compact single-beam safety sensors. Combined with Omron’s safety control units these are applied for Human Body Detection sensor (type 2).
When used standalone, they comply with EN954-1 (category 1).
