2D code reading on board
Challenge
2D code is applied for PCB management, but due to color and surface condition variations, maintaining a high read rate is not easy and a sensitive setting can be required for some 2D codes, especially for directly marked code.
Stable reading is required for high productivity, even though the marks are small.
Furthermore, the space to install a 2D code reader can be limited.
Solution
Omron offers a 2D code-reader with a special algorithm. This enables the reader to read and recognize directly marked code.
The ‘one touch’ teaching function enables the automatic setting of parameters.
